I built this buffet in 2023. The wood is walnut from Edensaw Woods in Port Townsend; the stained glass panels were fabricated by Big M Glass here in Tacoma based on my designs.
I built the lamp on the left in 2000 while on sabbatical in Albuquerque. It’s made of cherry and based on a design by Frank Lloyd Wright. The light switch is concealed in the shelf. The three-legged stool, also in cherry, was my project in a woodturning class taught by Beth Ireland at the Port Townsend School of Woodworking. The seat has the symmetry of a tourmaline crystal.
